Classes

Dynamic Yoga

Classes are flowing, incorporating dynamic sequences, which can be challenging, but modifications and alternatives are always given. There is a strong emphasis on core stability, correct alignment and use of  the breath. Yoga should always be non-competitive, and I always encourage people to develop their own practice and to work to their own abilities in a class. Many of my classes are attended by both beginners and experienced practitioners; they practise safely together as I teach them to understand how the yoga postures can be adapted to their own bodies.

Gentle Hatha Yoga

A slower paced class with a warm up, standing, seated and supine postures with a focus on posture, alignment, mobility and flexibility. A small class, enabling plenty of time for individual attention.

Adaptive Yoga

A class for those with mobility issues, incorporating chair based practice, some standing postures, with alternatives for those who are unable to stand, seated and supine postures which can be done on the floor, or on a wide sofa or bed.
